May 2018 - LCA

This is some text inside of a div block.

Dear Friend,

Sufficiency of Scripture Ministries (SOS) provides biblical training and leadership development for the 1,500+ churches of the Baptist Union of Uganda, as well as operating Legacy Christian Academy on its 160-acre campus in the rural Uganda community of Kubamitwe.

SOS was founded by Dr. Shannon Hurley in 2002. Shannon is a graduate of The Master's University and The Master's Seminary, and is supported by over 20 like-minded churches and several hundred individuals.

The SOS USA Board is led by 10 men, including Dr. Scott Ardavanis of Grace Church of the Valley; and Dan Dumas, formerly the Senior Vice President at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, currently serving as special advisor.

If you already support SOS - we thank you .

For those not aware of the work of SOS, or are not yet supporters, I'm excited to update you on the wonderful work of Legacy Christian Academy Uganda (LCA).

SOS launched LCA in 2013 to disciple the local Kubamitwe community by providing a Christ-centered, high quality, kindergarten and primary education, in a loving and professional environment, that develops students academically, socially, morally, and spiritually to make an impact in their home, community, and nation.

Today LCA has over 370 students and provides exceptional classical Christian education, empowering the youth in these impoverished communities, while transforming their families and surrounding villages.

SOS desires to expand Legacy Christian Academy to provide biblical education to the local community. With your support, we can make this a reality by providing additional classrooms and supporting additional qualified teachers, which requires additional teacher housing, and curriculum.

Would you prayerfully consider a gift to support SOS Ministries as a one-time gift or consider supporting SOS as a sustaining partner annually?

Thank you!

For the King and His Kingdom,

Kevin Thomas
